Each of the potential starting rooms shares a “room path” with another 5 prong, so it’s quite effective in getting players turned around from the start, because you’re generally never certain which room you started in. Your starting room is randomly chosen from 4 of the “5 prong” rooms (“5 prong 3” contains an exit to the Oblivion Key, so you never start there). Therefore, while the route might seem random, it’s actually almost completely predetermined. Whenever you take an exit from a key room, you are randomly placed in 1 of 2 rooms, depending on which exit you took. Whenever you take an exit from a non-door room, the exit is pre-determined, and will take you to a specific other room 100% of the time. The dungeon consists of a total of 13 rooms – 5 “5 Prong” rooms, 3 “Lake” rooms, 3 “Doors” rooms, and 1 of each key room. If lower doors, take the top left exit, followed by the left exit, then the left exit again to exit the dungeon.įULL EXPLANATION (stop reading here if you don’t care about details) If 5 prong, take the left exit, followed by the left exit to exit the dungeon. You will find yourself in either 5 prong or lower doors. If lower doors, take the bottom left exit, followed by the bottom left exit again to reach the disaster key.įrom the Disaster Key room, take the top left exit. If upper doors, take the left exit, followed by the bottom right, top left, then bottom left exits to reach the disaster key. You will find yourself in either upper doors or lower doors. (If you’re having trouble with this, reset until your first room transition is to either lake or 5 prong)įrom the Oblivion Key room, take the top right exit. If instead you end up in lower doors again, take the top left exit again, then the top right exit, and then the right exit to reach the oblivion key. If you end up in 5 prong, take the top right exit, followed by the right exit to reach the oblivion key. If another 5 prong, take the top right exit followed by the right exit to reach the oblivion key. If lake, take the top right exit, followed by the right exit to reach the oblivion key. You will find yourself in one of 3 rooms – another 5 prong, lower doors, or lake. 5 Prong Doors Upper/Lower Lakeįrom your starting room (5 prong), take the top left exit. When you take an exit, you may end up in the same room – this is accounted for in the walkthrough, so if the walkthrough tells you to take an exit, and you end up in the same room, simply continue following the walkthrough to the next step. Each type of room has multiple exits, which are labeled in the following images. I’ve named these “5 Prong”, “Doors Upper/Lower”, and “Lake”. There are 3 types of rooms you can find in the dungeon (not counting key rooms). You can then exit via the door and then the top right purple portal, or touch a spectre to be sent back to the dungeon entrance. Once you reach the exit, you can enter the building, dodge the two last spectres inside, and touch the tablet at the top to redeem a random sleeve. Once you enter the dungeon proper, you will have 2 minutes to navigate your way through the dungeon, collecting the Disaster Key and the Oblivion Key and then finding the exit, all while dodging spectres. The purple portal to the bottom left is the entrance to the dungeon proper, while the purple portal to the bottom right is the exit back to the CFA main area. There will be a purple portal to the upper left, go in there to find yourself in the entrance to the dungeon. To get to the dungeon, simply log in, and head up through the archway to the haunted shop.
The walkthrough will be first, followed by an in-depth explanation of how the dungeon actually works.
Well, I’m here to tell you what route to take to clear the dungeon, so that you can concentrate on dodging those dang spectres and get back to playing Vanguard with your shiny new sleeves. You might even know that you obtain these sleeves by clearing the new dungeon run mode, and perhaps even tried it yourself, only to give up in frustration.
Cardfight vanguard area Patch#
If you play Cardfight Area, you may have noticed that with the advent of patch 3.10, some players are now sporting a fancy golden sleeve of Luard, Ahsha, Chronojet, Gavrail, or Gurguit, as seen below.
